Basingstoke has an aquadrome, indoor skydiving and a bowling alley. There is also a Cricket and Rugby Clubs in town and one of the UK’s largest gliding clubs in based just outside the town at Lasham.


Golf Courses

The Hampshire Golf Club is set in 240 rolling acres of beautiful countryside, this well-established club offers wonderful views across the Test Valley. The challenging Manor Course is 6380 yards long and a good test for golfers of all levels. Closer at hand is Basingstoke Golf Club and nearby Dummer Golf Club both just 6 miles south west of the town and Weybrook Park Golf Club only 2 miles to the north.


Eastrop Park

Just to the south of Basing View, Eastrop Park is a great place to spend a lunch hour or a lazy day. There’s a boating lake, fit trail, children’s play area and paddling pool. The River Loddon runs through the park and is a haven for wildlife.


War Memorial Park

The open parkland of the War Memorial Park is a popular place for walks with its mature trees and landscaped gardens. It also features a bandstand, play area, skate park and sports pitches.
